I have spoken to Boyles poker, and they have told me that each player has to register on the site to book a seat in Ireland.
If you are having trouble putting money onto Boyles poker room, go to www.moneybookers.com and register a debit card there.

How are we doing it then? All booking individual rooms and flights or doing it as one booking if someone collects cash and pays?

ive just registered for the IPO championship in dublin....its dead easy. i opened an account on boylespoker and deposited £150 into the cashier...then looked on the 'schedualled tournaments', and scrolled down the dates to the very bottom and found the ipo tourney. (17th-10-2008). and then just registered like you would on any other online tourney. i paid into day 1B and if you wanna do the same youll have to get a wriggle on, cos there are only 140 places left on that day. JOB DONE!

I'm keen to go lads as it's only 40 mins from my home and I've a load of mates near-by and I'm sure a few would be playing.
Day 1B looks to be my option too if I can get registered in time.
Cookie if I get registered lets try and book the same flights if you want?
Looks fun?

Hi all Very Happy

Could be interested in this trip to Dublin will mention it to few others and see if can get in in time. Any 1 know the structure as it says 1000 runners last year but only 2 day 1s then final day seems a bit strange? To get through 1000 runners in that time sounds quick stucture. Any have any ideas on it? Cheers

hey foz.

its a 10k stack, 40 min clock....same as the apat tourneys. they reckon theyre playing down to 200 on each day 1.

the full structure is on boylepoker.com....theres a link on the 1st or 2nd post on here if you wanna look.

only day 1a available now, but weve got at least 3 going that day, and at least 3 more on day 1b. be good to get a load of us out there.

The structure of this event was good last year and there was plenty of play, but a long and tiring day.

This attracted over a 1000 runners and they played down to 200 on the first day.

They also ran a team event concurently and I beleive they are going to do the same this year (6 man team x 50 yoyos each)

My team managed second place and picked up 600 euros each nicely paying for the weekend.

If you bust out early there is bound to be plenty of cash action ... beware , he he ... if you think the scandis are sick online , prepare yourself for an Irish cash game..

cya there ... gl
